The Passing of Chief Rabban, Derrick Abrams

It is with heavy heart that I compose this message to inform you that the Black Camel has entered the Oasis of Marietta on Wednesday January 27, 2016 and claimed our Chief Rabban, Noble Derrick Abrams.  Certainly his presence among us will be missed. 

Arrangements will be passed along to you as we receive them.

​Accordingly, the family has asked for a time of solitude while they attend to making homegoing arrangements and adjust to life without the physical presence of our Noble brother. 

​Our Chief Rabban was also a Past Master of Truth and Union Lodge #594 and a member of Atlanta Consistory 24A.

​He leaves behind a wife, two children and a loving extended family.

Please be advised that the Funeral Services for Noble Abrams will be this Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11 AM. The plans for the Shrine Burial Tribute and the Kadosh are still being worked out at this time, projected to be at 10 AM on the same morning. 

The services are being conducted at Stone Street Baptist church in Mobile, Alabama - Masonic rites to follow the eulogy.
